My demo had just two microservices, though part of that demo was intended to demonstrate an early implementation of a clustered singleton bean. Starting multiple instances on the same machine Even with very lightweight demo apps, the pain of a couple of seconds to rebuild, followed by another couple of seconds to start is made much worse when several dependent services are involved!įor Payara Micro, there are a few ways this can result in time wasted: Now, using the Maven plugin made such a difference, I thought this was as good as it gets! Build a project in a couple of seconds and start it in a couple more – how much faster could it possibly get?Įven though the use of the new plugin had managed to get rid of a huge amount of time wasted during build, developing my JavaOne demo allowed me to experience some more “real world” pain of rapid minor changes with an application spread over a couple of microservices. I had found this to be so time consuming in the past, that I never bothered during development. Previously, if you wanted a single deployment unit, you would need to use the Maven Exec plugin to launch Payara during the build and output an Uber JAR. One thing that I was very keen to demonstrate – aside from some nice new features in Java EE 8 – was how quick and easy it is to develop and build MicroServices packaged as Uber JARs with our new Payara Micro Maven plugin. Way back at the start of October, I was feeling the familiar sensation of panic and dread that only happens right before I need to give a presentation that includes a demo! In the end, there were major problems with the AV setup in the room I was allocated, so even arriving as early I could to set up didn’t give the techs enough time to hook up my laptop successfully.

The photos from this shoot took me by complete surprise! I'm in lust with these, I adore them! What I was able to get in photos because I let go of the control is nothing short of amazing.Just recently, I have had to admit being wrong. And yet, I still have an amazing body and it is mine.

JREBEL REVIEW SKIN

I still have the loose skin, and I have scars from where the skin condition has ravaged my body. I am still beautiful, powerful and successful. What I didn't realize was that, even though I have gained a little weight back since my lowest weight, I still accomplished so damn much.

I knew I loved the outfits and my hair and makeup. When I saw my first sneak peak of photos, I was blown away. I wanted to let go, step outside of my comfort zone and see what I really could do. I asked Tiffany to pick my outfits, and my hair and makeup was left up to the artist. Less than 24 hours later, I was in Norfolk with no outfits (intentional) and a hope that this was going to work out. Within seconds of applying, I was accepted and needed to find a hotel room and let my husband know what I had done.

I applied knowing full well I was 3.5 hours north in Maryland, and did not have a friend to crash with if I was selected. This was major because I had done my own hair and makeup in the past. Here is a testimonial from the amazing Miss J, who has had not one but two sessions with us! These are her words, and this is her story.įast forward to this year, Tiffany put out a model call that included makeup and hair. THIS is why client testimonials are so special to me! When I read your reviews and thoughts on your boudoir session, it’s another reminder that all of the late nights and stressful days are SO worth it. In fact, one of our top lead sources is word of mouth! This means that one of the most popular ways we get new women into the studio is because our clients share their experience! Now here I am, years later, and I have so many beautiful women booking me for MONTHS out and flying across the country (or flying me across the country) to take part in the Rebel Boudoir Experience. In fact, I had my client reach out to me asking me to take photos of her in lingerie, I didn’t know much about boudoir at all! When I first opened Rebel Boudoir (back then it was a different name- does anybody know what it was?!), I cannot tell you how nervous it was! Where I’m from, boudoir is basically non existent. When you put your heart and soul into something, especially like a small business, you always have that fear starting out of “What if I’m not good enough?”
